Air Drop
Heads up, you just got a special delivery! Our Single origin offering will rotate as new harvests arrive.
This one is more than a little exciting to offer up. Our Air Drop for the month of October will feature a blend of Mexican coffees called “The Union”. Two separate lots – both from Oaxaca. One from the north “La Union 1#” and the other from the south by Sebastion Mendoza. These are both grown in some highly remote regions and so would rarely be pulled together in this way. Both the Ozolotepec (South) and Mazateca (North) regions share many challenges of isolation, ageing population and drastically low yields. It's uncommon to see a single producer have enough parchment to separate into their own micro lot, with most delivering between 5-15kg parchment each. These smaller parcels are often brought together as 'community micro lots' to build sufficient volume for an exportable lot. The La Union #1 is a case in point, with the '#1' being a blending of the best micro lots. This is why Sebastian's own micro lot separation is unique, as it’s a rarity for the far reaches of Oaxaca. We have roasted this to help showcase some of the great stonefruit qualities this coffee possesses. In the cup you should find a pleasing combination of plum, apple and brown sugar.
We have carefully curated our roast to suit both espresso and filter brewing to enjoy anytime, anywhere.
